Who was your favorite childhood superhero, and why?

The Phantom. I’m not sure how big the phantom were in the rest of the world, but in Sweden the comics were quite popular. And Batman. I still consider Batman to be my favorite superhero, mainly because he has no powers and to become a hero he had to overcome his greatest fear.
